Low-Tech artifacts is a satirical* art project that wants to criticise our consumer society.

Strategic marketing and engineering is used by greedy corporations to create a need for their products. Consumer electronics and appliances are scrapped as quickly as they are updated. In reaction to this vicious circle of planned obsolescence, LTA is offering a series of products that lasts forever*.

 

The primary function in consumer products is to be sold, not to improve our life quality. LTA products are honest , we have the same purpose, but before anything else we are questioning this consumer society. Our products can also function as monuments to remember our dead products, they can be trespassed to future consumer-free generations, or just be looked at and listened to.
